The Research and Education Committee is charged with creating and overseeing programs that support education, research in, and the teaching of neonatal-perinatal medicine.
The Practice and Standards Committee reviews issues related to the practice of neonatology or standards of neonatal care and makes recommendations to the CAN Board regarding an official stance on these issues.
The Membership and Nominating Committee is responsible for encouraging all neonatologists who actively practice in California to become members of CAN.
The Conference Planning Committee is responsible for developing and executing CAN’s Annual Conference, “Cool Topics in Neonatology,” held in March of every year.
